The Middle School SPORTS PROGRAM is run by the Jefferson Park and Recreation District, located across from the swimming pool. Program Director, Bill Linhart can be reached at 541-327-3581. The form for registering an athlete for a sport can be printed by clicking Registration Form. EXPECTATIONS AT JMS
Our school has adopted a mission statement that summarizes our overall goals for students as well as staff. Through the process of creating this mission statement, we have modified JMS school expectations. Students at JMS are also being trained in a violence prevention program called "Second Step." We want JMS to be a safe and positive learning environment for all.

Students who achieve academic success, exhibit good citizenship, and show responsibilities are awarded “Cub Pride” status. Cub Pride students are given the opportunity to go on special trips, attend special assemblies and/or receive treats. Here is the criteria for “Cub Pride” status.
· Citizenship grades of S&E
· No discipline referrals or bus conduct reports, two (2) or less citations, this applies to up to the date of the trip
· Have no more than two (2) excused absences with zero (0) unexcused absences
· No overdue library books, lunch accounts or fines.
